Dr. Stacey Hannah has been a dedicated veterinarian at Birchwood Animal Hospital since
graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. In 2018, she became one
of the clinic’s owners and takes great pride in being part of a locally owned and operated
practice. Growing up in St. James, Stacey graduated from Silver Heights Collegiate before
earning her Bachelor of Science from the University of Manitoba before heading off to
Saskatoon to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

Known for her warm approach and commitment to personalized care, Stacey enjoys building
lasting relationships with both her patients and their families (including the kiddos – she loves it
when they come along for appointments!). She also has a special interest in caring for smaller
creatures such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters—earning her the title of “go-to vet”; for
pocket pets at the clinic.

Outside the clinic, Stacey treasures time spent with her husband, two children, their cat and
their energetic Boston Terrier, Rigby. Whether relaxing at the lake, travelling or exploring
nature, she values the balance between her professional and personal life. Stacey also gives back
to the community by volunteering her veterinary expertise with the Winnipeg Humane Society.
