Hailing from Morden, MB, Dr. Matt Remple began his undergraduate studies at
Canadian Mennonite University before transferring and completing his Bachelor of Science at
the University of Winnipeg. His first exposure to veterinary medicine came as a volunteer at
Birchwood Animal Hospital and he is pleased to have returned after graduating from the
Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. He particularly enjoys the educational
aspect of general practice and has taken additional training in advanced diagnostics.
Matt and his wife share their home with two rescue cats, Pippin and Tibbs, and spend
much of their time outdoors at Assiniboine Park, FortWhyte Alive, and Oak Hammock Marsh,
where they practice their pandemic-adopted hobby of birding. His other interests include music, reading, and ultimate frisbee.
